Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how quotations, custom PC builds, upgrades, repairs and IT support are handled by jrldigitalsolutions.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

The website’s PC builder gives an estimate only. No purchase is made through this website. We confirm the specification, availability, timescale and final price with you before any work begins.

1. About us and contacting us

jrldigitalsolutions provides custom PC builds, computer upgrades, diagnostics and IT support. For quotations and general enquiries, email enquiries@jrldigitalsolutions.com. For support, email support@jrldigitalsolutions.com.

2. Quotations and your agreement with us

Prices shown by the online builder are indicative estimates and are not offers or guaranteed prices. Your quotation will describe the agreed work, parts, price, payment schedule and expected timescale. A contract begins when you accept the quotation and we confirm that we can proceed.

Quotations may have an expiry date because component prices and availability change. We will obtain your agreement before making a material substitution or changing the price.

3. Prices, deposits and payment

We will state the total price and any required deposit in your quotation. A deposit may be needed before we order parts or reserve work. The remaining balance is due as stated in the quotation.

If you cancel after we have incurred costs, we may retain or charge a fair amount for work completed, non-returnable parts and other actual losses caused by the cancellation. This will not exceed our reasonable loss.

4. Custom PC builds

We build the PC to the specification agreed with you. Parts may vary in appearance from example images on the website. Performance depends on the final specification, software, game settings and other factors, so example performance is not a guarantee unless it is expressly included in the quotation.

You are responsible for checking that any software, accounts, licences and accessories you supply are suitable and lawfully obtained.

5. Repairs, upgrades and diagnostics

We will use reasonable care and skill when inspecting or working on your equipment. Some faults cannot be confirmed until diagnostic work begins, and one fault can hide another. We will tell you if the expected work or price materially changes and obtain approval before proceeding.

When you supply your own parts, you are responsible for their compatibility and condition unless we agreed to check this as part of the service. We are not responsible for a fault caused by a customer-supplied part, but we remain responsible for the quality of our work.

6. Your data and passwords

Please back up important data before giving us a device wherever possible. Tell us if a device contains sensitive information. Do not send passwords through the website form. If access details are needed, we will agree a suitable way to provide them.

Although we take reasonable care, repairs, upgrades, malware removal and failing storage can involve a risk of data loss. We are responsible for loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to the liability section below.

7. Timescales and collection

Any completion date is an estimate unless we agree otherwise in writing. Component availability, delivery delays and newly discovered faults can affect timing. We will keep you informed of a material delay.

We will tell you when equipment is ready for collection or delivery and agree any applicable arrangements and charges.

8. Cancellations and consumer rights

Your statutory consumer rights apply. If a contract is agreed online, by telephone or away from our business premises, you may have a 14-day right to cancel. That right can be affected where you ask us to begin a service during the cancellation period, or where goods are made to your specification or clearly personalised.

If you ask us to start a service during the cancellation period and then cancel, you may have to pay for the work completed up to cancellation. We will explain any relevant cancellation terms before accepting an order.

9. Warranty and aftercare

  • Custom PC builds: 12 months’ cover for faults caused by our assembly or workmanship, starting on completion.
  • Repairs and upgrades: 90 days’ cover for the workmanship carried out.
  • Parts supplied by us: covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty. We will explain how a valid claim is handled.
  • Initial setup support: reasonable help with issues directly related to the agreed initial setup for 30 days after completion.

Cover does not apply where a problem was caused by accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, malware, liquid damage, power problems, normal wear, customer-supplied parts or a separate fault. These exclusions apply only where the excluded event caused the problem.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, your legal rights.

10. Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory rights.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. If you use our services for business purposes, we are not responsible for loss of profit, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, except where the law says otherwise.

11. Complaints

If something is wrong, please contact us promptly at support@jrldigitalsolutions.com and explain the issue. We will review it and aim to offer a fair solution.

12. Changes and governing law

The terms that apply to your order are the version in force when your contract begins. We may update the website version for future work.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any right to bring a claim in the courts that apply where you live.
